The duration of a ski season in any country is dictated by Mother Nature
and that all important white stuff, SNOW! That said, as a general rule,
the European season runs from Mid-December to late March. However,
in the higher resorts, and those with glaciers, the season has been known
to last well into April and beyond. However, it is safe to say that the
great winter resort atmosphere begins to fade later in the year. When
mountain bikes and grazing cattle are competing for the same stretch of
downhill as you, it’s probably time to come home…
